    • Description

The Ata Rangi Rose 2024 hails from Martinborough and reflects the estate’s signature balance of elegance and structure. Its blend comprises 35% Pinot Noir, 33% Merlot, 27% Syrah and 5% Malbec, sourced from diverse vineyard parcels and reflecting the region’s clay/gravel soils. It is vinified in a dry style, with gentle extraction and likely some component of barrel or neutral-wood influence to lend subtle texture. The wine opens with a refined floral nose laced with ripe apricot, raspberry and a faint smoky complexity, while on the palate it shows dry yet textured red-berry fruit, fine tannin grip, vibrant acidity and layers of lees-derived weight. Its finish is persistent but poised, offering depth without heaviness. Best enjoyed chilled in summer or paired with grilled fish, salad or lighter game, though it can evolve over several years of careful cellaring.
