Description
Ramos Pinto Porto White NV originates from the historic Ramos Pinto estate in Portugal’s Douro Valley, established in 1880. The wine is crafted from a blend of indigenous white grape varieties including Códega do Larinho, Viosinho, Rabigato, and Arinto, selected for their complementary profiles that balance volume, acidity, aromatic complexity, and minerality.
The production process includes hand harvesting, partial skin maceration, and controlled fermentation to preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels, adding subtle depth and complexity.
This white port presents a golden yellow colour with aromas of citrus, honey, and almond. On the palate, it is dry, fresh, and balanced, featuring delicate resinous notes and a rich, buttery texture, finishing with elegance.
Ideal served chilled between 6 and 10°C, Ramos Pinto White Port pairs well with soft cheeses, light appetizers, and functions as a refined aperitif. Proper storage is upright in a cool, dark place.
